We are not new, we have been around for a minute. Remember the Yart Sales in 2015-16? That was us. We have been slowly building up to a gallery space. Pit falls, and C19 put us behind a little. Then we stumbled into a relationship with Cross Grand, Chip Smith's photography studio in Dutchtown. We really hit it off and partnered to open up his walls to Ellipsis Studio. We have always been about community and local artists, so that is going to be our focus for this space and partnership.
- September 10, kicked off our Grand Opening with Theresa Hopkins' artwork. Her solo show was a big hit. This was litmus test and it proved that we have a good idea that needs a little nurturing.
- October 1, brings a cadre of magnificent artists that are sure to blow you away. Our favorite part about this group of artists is that they are all incredible humans. The gathering alone will be sure to please.
- November 4th's exhibit will bring you the work of Mark Regester. Mark is a local photographer, video, and mixed media artist. His work is evolving faster than anyone can keep track. The layers of his work reflect the deeply cerebral approach that he uses to convey his visual stories. Mark's video work and photography data bending creates a deep visual experience with hidden messages that are not immediately apparent, however they transform the image using imbedded data. It's really a trip and you have to have a conversation with him to truly experience the work.
- December 1st's show will be a Holiday Art Boutique with works of art and artsy items under $250. Shopping hours will be Saturdays 12-4p and Dec 19-21, 4-8p.
